New Highlight reels for every study

Every interview, already analysed.

Fieldnote turns user-interview recordings into transcripts, quotes and themes your whole team can search, so research stops living in one person's folder.

Interview 04 · Priya, ops lead

Researcher · 12:04Walk me through the first week after you signed up.

Priya · 12:11Honestly, I didn't know which of the three setup paths was meant for us, so I picked one and had to redo it on Thursday.

Priya · 12:38Once it was set up it was fine. The import was the bit that made it click.

Theme across 3 of 4 interviews
Users can't tell the setup paths apart.

Research is slow to use, not to do.

  • An hour of interview, an evening of notes.

Re-listening to find the one sentence that mattered is where most research time goes.

  • Insights stuck in folders.

Findings sit in decks and docs nobody can search, so they are forgotten by the next roadmap.

  • The same question, asked twice.

Without a shared memory, teams re-run studies whose answers already exist.

Three steps, then it's searchable.

Drop in the recording.

Upload audio or video, or connect your call tool so new interviews arrive on their own.

Everything after “stop recording”.

  • Transcribe on upload

Audio and video become speaker-labelled transcripts while you make coffee.

  • Find the quotes

Fieldnote suggests the moments worth keeping. You decide which stay.

  • Tag across studies

One tag set for every interview, so themes build up instead of resetting.

  • Search everything

Ask for “onboarding confusion” and get every clip where it came up.

  • Share a highlight reel

Stitch quotes into a short reel for the people who will never read a report.

  • Export anywhere

Notes to your docs tool, quotes to your slides, raw data as CSV.

The same interview, twice.

Key quote

“I didn't know which of the three setup paths was meant for us.”

Summary: chose the wrong setup path, redid it three days later. Import was the turning point.

Questions, answered.

Who owns the recordings?

You do. Recordings and transcripts belong to your workspace and can be exported or deleted at any time.

Is it safe for sensitive interviews?

Workspaces can redact names and contact details automatically, and access is limited to the people you invite.

Which languages does it support?

Transcription supports the major European and Asian languages, and a single interview can switch between them.

Can we bring in old research?

Yes. Upload past recordings in bulk and Fieldnote transcribes and tags them alongside new ones.

Your next interview could be your first analysed one.
