The challenge
The NFT and DeFi boom of 2021 and 2022 created demand for curated investment vehicles that community members could join. To work as a DAO VC, the platform needed a governance model, an investment thesis and a community.
My contribution
- Directed operational planning and contributed to the investment model, governance structure, positioning and go-to-market
- Researched and assessed early-stage Web3, NFT, DeFi, gaming and metaverse projects: teams, roadmaps, tokenomics and competitive position
- Built relationships with founders, investors, launchpads, CEXs, DEXs, creators and KOLs
- Helped grow Mad for NFTs, the platform's NFT publication
